April Lynch, D.O.
Physician and Chief Medical Officer
Dr. April Lynch is a Family Medicine Physician who received her osteopathic medical degree from KCUMB in Kansas City, MO in 2004. Her specialty training was at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, WA while serving on active duty. She has kept specialty board certification in Family Medicine since 2007 and practiced full-scope primary care medicine while serving in various leadership capacities.
Following residency, Dr. Lynch served on active duty as a medical director for Army Medical Clinics in Germany. Both of her children were born overseas. Upon returning to WA in 2011, she left active duty but continued to work for the military as a civilian physician. She became a regional primary care leader where she oversaw the transformation of over 40 primary care clinics into Army Patient-Centered Medical Homes. Dr. Lynch is originally from Colorado having grown up in Paonia on the Western slope. She happily returned to Colorado in 2015 to be the Medical Director for Mountain Post Army Medical Home. In late 2017, she left Army medicine to care for patients in a Direct Primary Care environment and currently lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, Clayton and their two children. Her family enjoys Colorado activities to include camping in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
Pinnacle Advanced Primary Care is the culmination of Dr. Lynch’s varied experiences. She plans to use the best of what she has learned over the years to provide patients with individualized, comprehensive healthcare while leading primary care as it transforms medicine through “front line” strength.
